The Grief Pressure Cooker

The Grief Pressure Cooker

The anguish that grief survivors carry in their minds and bodies can be compared to a pressure-cooker that can't be turned off. The flame and subsequent steam are always there, building pressure every day. An internal pressure-cooker of sorts, which builds more steam on bad days than good days. Moreover, steam pressure builds over time. In this Plumber’s Guide to Grief series, we explore ways to maintain our internal pressure cookers, giving relief and healing to our mind and body.
